Pfizer will start direct supply to Pakistan with its COVID-19 vaccine

This month Pfizer announced that its COVID-19 mRNA-based vaccination would be sent directly to Pakistan.

Details are provided that with the first 100,000 doses planned for arrival to Pakistan in the next days, the New York based pharmaceutical business will provide the vaccine to Pakistan.

Last month, 13 million doses of Pfizer's Coronavirus vaccine were received directly from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) by the business last month.

In May, a worldwide campaign for equal access to coronavirus vaccinations headed by GAVI, Pfizer received 106,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine COVID 19, also in Pakistan.

In all the current country-wide immunisation campaign will reach Pakistan with a total of 15 million doses of Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, and China coronavirus vaccines this month.

The NDMA also revealed that the government purchased more than 90 percent of the vaccinations scheduled in July.
