Sindh Bans Internet and Phones Devices in Examination Centers

The government has prohibited personnel, examiners, surveillance staff, instructors and students of the Karachi Secondary Education Board (BSEK) from carrying cell phones to the test sites to prevent leakage.

The University and Board Adviser to Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, stated this in a Tuesday statement.

"A mobile phone in an exam centre is not permitted to be used. The introduction and use of mobile phones and Internet gadgets will be prohibited entirely. Board personnel, surveillers, external and internal auditors and students are not permitted to use cell phones."

Khuhro directed the personnel of the board and the pupils to search each centre before the paper began.

"They will be confiscated if a mobile phone is inside the facility," he said.

He stated the leak is examined and the perpetrators will be assumed. Section 144 should be rigorously implemented by the authorities and police inside the borders of the examination facilities, he told us.

He says it is essential to discourage the copy culture and to remove the use of unlawful methods in examinations in whatever way.
